A Modern Japanese Eatery + “The Oak Room” located inside Oak & Coal 🥃

Founded in 2017 by Jeff Chon and his partner Christian Fernadez, established restaurateers of the Alley Newport Beach, Tabu Shabu and the Wayfarer- Oak and Coal’s inspiration began with the quest to bring something new to 17th street- high quality Japanese street food with a modern twist. The menu was born from organic, free-range proteins and veggies, ramen and udon dishes, rotating craft beers and smooth sakes to pair.

Sunday - Friday: 5 p.m. - 10 p.m.
Saturday: 5 p.m. - 11 p.m.
